  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication data via our third-party provider, Clerk.
  • Profile Information: You may provide additional information for your public profile, such as a bio, location, or website.
  • Campaign Information: If you create a fundraiser, we collect the title, description, goal amount, and images you provide.
  • Canvas Interactions: We collect and store data related to the pixels, colors, coordinates, text, images, and other visual content you place or submit through Pixerria's interactive canvas features, and we may link that activity to your account, campaign, or transaction history.
  • Payment Information: When you donate or set up payouts, your payment details (such as credit card or bank account information) are collected and processed directly by our payment partners (e.g., Stripe). We do not store this sensitive information on our servers.
  • Communications: If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you.

Information We Collect Automatically

  • Usage Data: We collect information about your interactions with the Platform, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages you visit, and the dates and times of your visits.
  • Cookies and Analytics Technologies: We use cookies, pixels, session storage, and similar technologies to help operate our site, remember your preferences, understand user activity, and measure product performance. This may include analytics tools such as PostHog and Google Analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Pixerria Platform.
  • Process donations and facilitate payouts to Campaign Organizers.
  • Personalize your experience.
  • Communicate with you, including for marketing and promotional purposes, from which you can opt-out.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Analyze usage trends, diagnose errors, and improve campaign, donation, and canvas experiences through analytics tools such as PostHog.
  • Ensure security, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with the following parties for the purposes described above:

  • Campaign Organizers and Donors: Your name and profile picture may be displayed publicly on campaigns you create or donate to. If Pixerria offers an anonymous donation option, your identity may be hidden from the public campaign feed while still being shared with the applicable Campaign Organizer, payment partners, and as required for compliance.
  • Service Providers: We share information with third-party vendors and service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing (Stripe), authentication (Clerk), cloud hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers including PostHog and Google Analytics.
  • Legal, Compliance, and Law Enforcement: We may disclose your information if required by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, prevent fraud, respond to anti-money laundering or sanctions requirements, protect and defend our rights or property, or protect users and the public.

4. Data Security and Retention

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorized access. However, no security system is impenetrable. We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Certain information may be retained for longer periods where required or permitted by law, including transaction records, identity verification materials, fraud-prevention records, and payment or payout data needed to comply with anti-money laundering, sanctions, tax, accounting, chargeback, and financial reporting obligations.

  • Access: The right to request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: The right to request that we correct any inaccurate personal information.
